This is a Text-To-Speech (TTS) engine that wraps around any standard TTS engine for adding extra settings such as : Delay before, pitch rate factor, and excluded characters.
This TTS engine can be used with AudioBT to improve the TTS output of some applications.
-Set a 1 or 2 seconds delay to avoid audio cutting at the beginning of the speech.
-Exclude some characters, such as the dash character so that it is not spelled in street names.

This options prevents Google Maps from reverting back to the default voice when using a too long pause. Voice quality may be reduced. NOTE: Some apps using TTS are not compatible with this option.
